Edward

I’ve been really obsessed with little granny squares lately, they are so versatile and there are so many placement variations when it comes to colour combos. I also love patchwork and one colour little grannies all joined together are great for creating a patchwork effect. Edward is a bold colour scheme, if you’ve followed me for a while you’ll know I favour bold and bright over pastels!

For this blanket I used my favourite Scheepjes Colour Crafter in

  • Tynaarlo
  • Alphen
  • Goes
  • Verviers
  • Burum
  • Coevorden
  • Nijmegen

I found planning the colour placement before I started really helped and who doesn’t love a bit of colouring!
Here’s my colour placement plan for this blanket

The squares are joined together using the join as you go method on the third round. JAYG is a lot easier than it sounds and I’m not exaggerating when I say it is life changing! I finished the blanket off with a simple few rounds of dc using Tynaarlo

I hope you have found this combo inspiring and I'd love to see how you use it! If you want to you can use hashtag #littledovecolourcombo to share your creations on social media.
