This project began two years ago! It’s been sat in a box in my workroom waiting for me to pick it up again. In all honesty I had totally forgotten about it until I was having a sort out last week and came across it.
The yarn (and the yarn pegs in this photo) I’m using for this was very kindly gifted to me by Wool Warehouse at the time of the launch of their own Yarnsmiths Create DK yarn. I now use this brand of yarn the majority of the time, it’s a great acrylic

I specifically chose the colours with Christmas in mind. A slight variation on the traditional red and green with the additional of teals and a very bright pink! I’ve called this combo Robin to reflect the festive feel but also I wanted to once again use a unisex name and Robin fits the bill!
I’m using the following colours….
- Bottle Green
- Teal
- Robin’s Egg
- Apple Green
- Crimson
- Fandango Pink
- Off White
- Linen

I’m making little two round grannies which I am then joining continuously as I make the third round. Both the second and third rounds are worked in Linen. Something very satisfying seeing all the little grannies lined up on the tray!!
Continuous join as you go video

I’m not exactly sure where it will all end up at the moment, I’m just enjoying making and joining the little grannies! I’ll update the blog with more info as things progress
