Rosie is a lovely rainbow combo that I have used many times. I’ve made granny circles, squares, chevrons and ripples with this combo…..It is very versatile!
The granny square I’ve used here is the same as my ‘Delilah’ square with an extra round making 6 rounds. You can find my video tutorial for that here
How to crochet a ‘Granny Circle Square’
This blanket is also a really good example of why I mix yarn brands because sometimes you just can’t get the flow of colours you want just using one. Don’t be afraid to mix brands, so long as the yarn is the same weight and composition there’s no reason not too!
Rosie is a combo of
Cygnet DK
- Buttercream
Paintbox DK
- Melon Sorbet (discontinued, use Hayfield Bonus in Blonde instead)
Scheepjes Colour Crafter
- Den Bosch
- Delfzijl
- Texel
- Heerlen
- and you might want to add Weert for a border
Here are some other ways I have used this combo
I hope you have found this combo inspiring and I'd love to see how you use it! If you want to you can use hashtag #littledovecolourcombo to share your creations on social media.
All my blog content is provided free however if you would like to support the time involved in producing the blog and the information I share you can do so by 'buying me a coffee' Alternatively please consider sharing my blog post or maybe one of my videos…….it really helps me to spread the word :)
