US shipping following the removal of the US de minimus rule
On the 29th August 2025 the US de minimis rule ended. This means that all orders entering the US after this date will be subject to customs charges regardless of value (previously orders valued under $800 were exempt)
The customs charges have to be collected from you at the point of sale and then paid to my shipping provider by me before the item enters the USA. I've adjusted my prices to you to include the required tariff fee. The good news is that this means there will be no further customs fees to pay on delivery of your order once it reaches you in the US as it will have been sent DDP (delivered duty paid) as required by the US government.
My US customers are really important to me, some of you have ordered from me right from the very early days of Little Dove and I'm so pleased to still be able to offer you my kits. These things are of course very fluid and it could be that in future things change again but for now I just want to thank you for your patience whilst I got US shipping up and running again and I hope you will still be able to order from me going forward despite the little extra cost.
As always if postage comes out less than anticipated at time of shipping your order any difference will be refunded to you.
Please note that digital download charts are exempt from tariffs (long may that continue!)
