A biscornu is a small octagonal pincushion. They are really fun to make and highly addictive!
This cute festive biscornu features a polar bear and his penguin friend chasing a snowball around, it's a lovely quick make and the finished item would make a unique Christmas gift for someone who likes sewing!
Biscornus are stitched in two pieces, front and back, and then the two pieces are stitched together to form the octagonal shape.
Design Size
The stitch count of both front and back is 60 x 60. The finished constructed biscornu when stitched on 14ct/28ct fabric is approx 4" x 4"
